Read the daily quote from Pope Francis

We the parishioners of Immaculate Heart of Mary, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, exist to help one another grow spiritually, emotionally and socially in our faith through worship and fellowship. We provide the opportunity for continuing religious education for children, young adults and adults. We maintain an active presence in the community by providing support and assistance to those in need.

To Summarize:

Beginning June 18, the Vigil Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary will begin at 5 PM.  There will be no Vigil Mass at Immaculate Conception.

The time for the Sacrament of Reconciliation at Immaculate Heart of Mary will be 3:30-4:45 PM.  This is an hour later than it has been for the past several years.

Confessions will be available at Immaculate Conception.  However, this will be by appointment only.  Either call me at 860 379-5215 or email me at ahead of time so that we can set a time that is mutually agreeable.  I have to do it this way because I want to extend to New Hartford hours for the Sacrament of Reconciliation but I need to have some flexibility because Saturdays are often busy with weddings, funerals and meetings.

Please know that I am aware that these changes will have an impact in the lives of a number of parishioners.  I hope that we all appreciate the fact that they are necessary and that change also offers an opportunity for growth.  Let us trust in the Holy Spirit's presence as we continue to work towards the merger of Immaculate Conception and Immaculate Heart of Mary Churches and move forward as one community of faith.  Please know that every day you are in my prayers. Please pray for me.
